Pollio Hnos. Sociedad de Bolsa SA
The Pollio family opened the way. "Pollio Hnos. Sociedad de Bolsa S.A." shares the same story as the local Stock Exchange.

In the early twentieth century, Fernando Pollio, a native of Naples, Italy arrived in Uruguay. It was in 1904 that he began operations in the financial sector, through a money exchange house and representation of Italian firms. Ten years later he bought a broker-dealer license in the local Stock Exchange, which in turn had just been founded. With his brother Antonino, he began Pollio Hnos. as a local broker-dealer.

In 1944, his sons Alberto and Carlos took up the business and then the third generation (Fernando, José and Luisa Pollio) conducted the institution until the merger of the companies. Their broad customer base was consolidated based on responsibility and trust.

Comas Corredor de Bolsa S.A.

Few years later, it was the time of Comas, who commenced its activity when the country elected constituents for the National Assembly to make the first founding amendment to the Constitution of Uruguay.
